I am a teacher of Art at a middle school in Staffordshire and have been fascinated by pastels for nearly 30 years, I am passionate about wildlife and in particular wildbirds. I accept commissions as an in-house artist to a framing shop for portraiture. I undertake demonstrations and run regular workshops which I find extremely enjoyable. I have recently started a body of work based on the Peak district and Staffordshire Moorlands. My approach is very informal; fun is so important. I try not to take myself too seriously!

I usually start any demonstration with an animal portrait and practically show use of light and shade and using different papers. I give a history of myself and how I became interested in pastels. ! | |||
